Announcing Huddle Desktop

Following weeks of hard work, I’m pleased to announce that Huddle Desktop v1.0.01 is now released and available for download!

Huddle Desktop is a small application you can download and install on your computer so that you can view your Huddle workspaces, folders and files all from your own machine. It allows you to interact with your files more effectively: drag and drop any number of files or folders from your machine onto one of your Huddle folders and they’re uploaded automatically; drag a file, a folder or lots of files out of Huddle Desktop and they’re downloaded seamlessly for you.

Huddle Desktop can be minimised to your system tray or dock and is easily accessible with a single click; you can install it with one click from the Huddle website, and all the code is available under the GNU General Public License (v3) from the project homepage at Google Code

What’s more, as Huddle Desktop is build on the Adobe AIR framework, the program can be run on Windows, Mac OS and Linux operating systems.
