At Huddle, we like Twitter. We like charities as well. Therefore, there was no surprise that put some money behind the bar of the Harvest Twestival, a tweet-up with a social conscience.

What a night that was! 200-odd Twitter users, some of whom never met before, descended on the Doon bar in Trafalgar Square in London. They were clutching bags full of tinned food soon to be donated to The Connection at St Martin-in-the-Fields, a community centre with homeless people in Central London. More donations were collected through a twaffle (Twitter + raffle). There was a live performance from @ihatemornings – You’re no one if you’re not on Twitter, followed by a DJ set and dancing!

Everyone seemed to have enjoyed themselves.
