Thanks for a great article.

Sales is an art form with so many different branches that it is impossible to master them all. I an not sure I agree that there is a reluctance in the business to talk about sales from a web2.0 perspective - but nonetheless it is constantly overlooked and down-prioritized and often talked about as something dirty.

If I can choose only two things to focus on within this article it would have to be these two quotes.

"make it so easy for the other person to buy, that they can’t say no"

and

"everyone in the team needs to be able to “sell” – whatever they are doing."

Great post, and bang on the money. Everything that we do online, needs to have a purpose, clarity and focus. Looking good or being "cool" is not enough.

What is the ROI?
Am I going to get $$$ from this?

Two questions that CAN be lost in the web maelstrom, especially with the latest and greatest technology.

Are you coming along to the tweetup on the 28th? If so, look forward to meeting you!

Cheers,

Jon Moss :-)
